My Background in Mental Health Care
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who is deeply committed to creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and truly supported. I approach therapy with openness, curiosity, and compassion, honoring that every person’s story is unique and deserves to be met without judgment.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, where I built a strong foundation in evidence-based and client-centered care. Since then, I have continued to grow my practice through ongoing training and a deep commitment to holistic and integrative approaches to healing.
My Clinical Approach & Focus Areas
My work is rooted in a holistic perspective—meaning I don’t just focus on symptoms, but on you as a whole person. Together, we explore the connection between your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and life experiences to better understand what you’re carrying and how it’s shaping your world. I believe healing happens when all parts of you are acknowledged and given space to be heard.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, people-pleasing patterns, relationship challenges, and difficulty with boundaries. I also support clients in exploring deeper emotional wounds and long-standing patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck.
My approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, attachment-based work, and specialized support for narcissistic abuse. I enjoy helping clients explore their attachment styles and how early relational experiences may be influencing current relationships, emotional responses, and patterns of connection.
I incorporate somatic therapy to support awareness of how emotions are held in the body, helping clients reconnect with themselves in a deeper, more regulated way. I also integrate principles from Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, recognizing the powerful role that nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness play in emotional well-being.
